Hotel Zapotlan in Ciudad Guzmán. Official Website
In the heart of Ciudad Guzmán, Hotel Zapotlán has witnessed the passage of time and the evolution of the city since the late 19th century. It was born as the Hotel de la Bola de Oro, later became the elegant Gran Hotel Anguiano, and finally proudly reclaimed its current name, a symbol of Zapotlán identity and tradition.
Within its walls are preserved more than a hundred years of stories: here the city’s first telephone was installed, Venustiano Carranza rested during the Mexican Revolution, and decades later, the poet Pablo Neruda stayed. Today, Hotel Zapotlán combines the tradition and hospitality of yesteryear with modern comfort. It has 60 classic rooms and 21 modern air-conditioned rooms surrounded by tranquillity. Each stay offers Wi-Fi, television, and a cozy atmosphere that reflects the soul of the city.
More than a hotel, we are a living part of the history of Zapotlán el Grande, where each guest writes a new chapter in this century-old tradition.
